I am an amateur photographer born in Sicily in 1968.
Through photography I try to open my eyes to the world we do not see, both when it tells of places far from us, and when it reveals "worlds" to us contiguous but distant from a social or cultural point of view.
Life is an adventure and like photography is made up of shadow and light. II move in harmony with it fascinates me, perceive moods, smells, sounds, colors and after having absorbed it, represent it in its many aspects: irony, beauty, solitude, tragedy and even devotion or presumed such.
My countryman Gesualdo Bufalino wrote a great truth:
“Photography represents a death certificate but, at the same time, a promise of resurrection; it is an impassive document, but, at the same time, a fountain of existential tears.
Even more: it obeys time and electrocutes it; sanctions a loss and replaces an immortal simulacrum..."

Sono un fotoamatore nato in Sicilia nel 1968.
Attraverso la fotografia cerco di aprire gli occhi sul mondo che non vediamo, sia quando racconta di luoghi lontani da noi, sia quando ci svela “mondi” a noi contigui ma distanti dal punto di vista sociale o culturale.
La vita è un’avventura e come la fotografia è composta d’ombra e di luce. II muovermi in sintonia con essa mi affascina, percepire gli umori, gli odori, i suoni, i colori e dopo averla assorbita, rappresentarla nei suoi molteplici aspetti: l’ironia, la bellezza, la solitudine, la tragedia ed anche la devozione o presunta tale.
Il mio conterraneo Gesualdo Bufalino scrisse una grande verità:
“La fotografia rappresenta un certificato di morte ma, nello stesso tempo, una promessa di resurrezione; è un documento impassibile, ma, nello stesso tempo, una fontana di lacrime esistenziali.
Più ancora: obbedisce al tempo e lo fulmina; sanziona una perdita e vi sostituisce un simulacro immortale…”
